I make cone shaped ladies and rounder ladies in a variety of sizes and glazes. Some are painted with underglaze colours which allows painting of small detail - these are then glazed with a clear glaze. Others are painted with glaze - glaze is glass esentially and it melts in the kiln so the the glazes move and blend. Ive put a (pretty bad) photo of a glazed lady on  to give an idea.
